Vance Honeycutt scampered across home plate clapping in the ninth inning, and soon UNC celebrated sewing up the top seed in the ACC baseball tournament. The Tar Heels defeated Duke 6-4 on Friday at Coombs Field (Highlights), breaking open a tie game during their last at-bat to clinch the No. 1 seed assignment for next week's conference tournament.
