In what was a busy weekend of visits for South Carolina football, numerous blue chip prospects had the red carpet rolled out for them by the Gamecock coaching staff. One major target for defensive coordinator Clayton White and defensive backs coach Torrian Gray is high-upside safety Kaj Sanders.
Sanders is a 4-star prospect according to On3 and is viewed as one of New Jersey’s top recruits. Sanders released a top-10 in May that included South Carolina, Notre Dame, Syracuse, Miami, North Carolina, Rutgers, Penn State, Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Maryland. He was on his official visit to Columbia last weekend, took an official to Wisconsin last week, and has visits lined up to Penn State and North Carolina.
