Hello Again Husky fans. The Huskies got some more good news today when DeShawn Lynch a defensive lineman from Sacramento State committed to UW after officially visiting this last weekend. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
Lynch, who is listed at 6’5” and around 280 pounds, started in 13 games for Sacramento State last year as a defensive end and had 34 tackles, 6.5 TFL’s and 4.5 sacks. He led the team this fall with 26 QB pressures in 223 pass rush snaps. Lynch took a redshirt as a freshman in 2021 and then appeared in 10 games as a reserve in 2022 before becoming a dependable starter last season.
